Natalia Pakula – Designer

I am a print designer specialised in books and magazines layout.

I graduated from intermedia at Academy of Arts in Poznan (Poland). My passion for visual arts started with photography, later it evolved towards graphic design - particularly print design involving books, magazines, leaflets, posters etc. Till this day a well designed book is like a magical encounter for me, therefore I am always looking forward new possibilities and I try to learn and grow as a profesional.

Through the years I specialised in non-fictional genres, including social matters, history and culture as well as memoirs.

Designing a cover and an interior layout is for me a fascinating search of balance between aesthetic and functionality so reading becomes a pleasure both visually and intellectually for the reader. I look for inspiration in work of other designers but also in art generally. The creative process is shared with the author or the client as her/his vision and needs are important part of designing a book or other print.

I was born in Poland and I spent few years in France (Paris, Arles). Currently I am living in quiet Portuguese countryside and I would be very happy to pursue my professional path.

I am open to work on projects in English, French and Polish.
