Overview
I’m a freelance journalist and the former editor of Management Today, one of the UK’s leading business magazines.
As a magazine editor, I spent years helping to set the agenda for business readers. I like to think I champion those readers in any project I take on, helping to ensure the story meets them where they are.
Although my journalistic speciality is primarily longer-form (2,000-4,000 word) features, most of my client work since going freelance three years ago has been ghostwriting shorter form content - reports, media op-eds, profile interviews and blogs. It’s given me invaluable experience working with various authors to develop, structure and articulate their ideas in a form that will resonate with their intended readers.
My media nous and network have also proven handy in getting coverage in titles such as Fortune and the Financial Times for my first ghostwritten business book, for the CEOs of a technology company, which came out in 2023 to great reviews.
The main areas I write about are:
- Leadership
- Sustainability
- Work and careers
- Strategy
- Narrative business - bringing to life the story of how company X did thing Y
